A: Typically, poly furniture is stain-repellent, which means it’s not prone to stains. However, over time, you may find your poly furniture may accumulate some debris or dirt that’s difficult to get off with soap and water. This phenomenon may happen if you live in an area where wind or frequent storms kick up dirt or dust. Or, it may be more likely if you use your furniture daily, especially if you’re eating and drinking while using it. Combine 1/3 bleach with 2/3 water. Remove any decorative items on the furniture, such as cushions or tablecloths, to avoid accidentally staining them with the bleach solution. Apply the bleach/water mixture to your poly furniture, then let it sit on the surface of the furniture for a few minutes. You can also use a soft-bristled brush to work the bleach/water mixture into the grooves in the surface or to loosen difficult stains. Don’t worry — this won’t damage the surface or change the color of your furniture! Rinse thoroughly with a hose, then allow to air dry.

I know you’re saying, “Get to the point, what’s the best material for outdoor furniture?” I hate to leave you on the fence but the final decision is ultimately up to you. If you want something lightweight, chic, modern, and low-maintenance, go with synthetic resin wicker furniture. Looking for wood furniture suitable for the outdoors, go with teak. Looking for metal furniture? Stick with aluminum unless you want an eclectic design. In that case, wrought iron will likely offer more ornate options. Plastic Resin – Plastic resin is cheap, flimsy, unattractive, and fragile. Only good for temporary use. PVC Wicker – PVC wicker LOOKS like HDPE Wicker but when you find out what it’s really made of, you’ll see that it is not the best material to be used on outdoor furniture. Not only that, it is not recyclable like HDPE Wicker. Bare Metals – Bare metals will rust when exposed to rain and moisture. Make sure that any furniture you purchase is coated with a rust-proofing material. Where to Buy Outdoor Patio Furniture

The chairs are very nice. My daughter has some. The only problem is the squirrels like to chew on them.
The end product is I have 4 beautiful chairs, they are sturdy when I sit on them, and they fold beautifully. They are not the heaviest adirondacks I've seen, but they have a good weight behind them. A young adolescent could lift, but a smaller child might not be able to. When they fold, they are still rather big, but it is a nice feature if you want to move them around.
Concerns over deforestation may have you rethinking the traditional wood Adirondack chair. A: If you own cushions to complement your poly furniture, you can also keep these clean with minimal effort. Ideally, you should regularly brush or shake your cushions to avoid dirt or debris accumulating on them.
