When discussing the best shed material, you’re looking at what makes up the exterior of the shed itself, as this will have to contend with the elements. We recently had a shed built on-site and are very happy with the purchase. The installation crew was professional and very efficient. Mitch helped us with verifying that what we had in mind would work and he actually visited us at our home to see where it was to be installed. Very helpful! Ron A 2 years ago
Ordered a solid construction shed, Mitch came and looked over the location and said it can be moved in but could be difficult with some large rocks in the location. Mitch came and checked the leveling and measured area again before delivery...and sent email to update delivery. Shane and Mitch looked the area over and it was a difficult alley entering into the location. The backup went well until the 90 degree turn for the final location by the rocks. Shane and Mitch are amazing, good workers and get the job done! Shed looks great! Thanks Shane and Mitch for an interesting and great morning. Jason Santo 2 years ago
One of the major reasons our shed is more expensive than the low quality version is that we opted for vinyl siding (a $400 upgrade). Vinyl siding is virtually maintenance-free, and with a 2×4-over-plywood substructure, it will last for at least 20 years. The wood siding on the low-quality shed will require painting and will wear out far more quickly. We think vinyl looks much better, too.
