Those shingles are called “Architectural Shingles.” They are MUCH nicer looking than traditional 3-tab variety and cost only about 20-25% more. When you consider that you’ll have to look at the roof for the next 20 years, the investment in architectural shingles really starts to make sense. Also, from a “functional” perspective, architectural shingles are heavier, and so they resist blowing off in high wind storms, etc. The only downside to architectural shingles is that you cannot (or really, you should not) lay another layer of shingles over top of them, which you can do with 3-tab shingles. You have to tear off the roof before putting on the new one.

If you have an existing shed but want to move it to another location, this could have a range of costs. If your shed does not have a floor, it can be easily moved for around $50 in most cases. Floors can be made of poured concrete, plywood 2, or plastic. If your shed has a concrete pad for a floor, you will need a new floor poured, which has costs of up to $300. Some wood floors can be moved with the rest of the shed. If you purchase a floor kit, you usually need to build the floor separately, while custom sheds can have them built-in 3.
Plastics is a catch-all term for a lot of materials. Generally, plastic is something that can be molded or shaped by heat and pressure. Here’s the Encyclopedia Britannica discussion of plastics. Check out the handy chart showing the different types, based on chemistry.
Shed City was very helpfull in working with me on the design of my shed . They were able to schedule around my work , for delivery of the shed ; and were able to navigate around a couple of trees and up a small hill to place the shed in an area that I had excavated and leveled for them . I am very pleased with the communication and service provided . Nancy Heard 6 months ago

Siding: Most of the time, these kits will have wood or plastic siding. If not treated correctly, the wood is susceptible to mold and rot, and plastic can crack in direct sunlight. Some shed kits will boast vinyl siding, but its often faux-vinyl rubber siding, which will expand and contract in sunlight leading to cracking and leaking.

When discussing the best shed material, you’re looking at what makes up the exterior of the shed itself, as this will have to contend with the elements. The vast majority of quality sheds are either built out of vinyl or pressure-treated wood siding. We’re comparing the important details of both options: Learn more about the prices of our Amish sheds.Risk of Rot — When it comes to stopping mold and rot, vinyl is the best shed material and there’s no question about it.
